Tasks

In the pivotal role of Integrative Health Coordinator, you'll spearhead the transformation of health and wellness within the senior living sector, as well as contribute to other sectors. Your expertise as an exercise physiologist, paired with your background in operational leadership and holistic health, will drive the creation and implementation of innovative wellness programs that engage senior residents and staff. This key position is central to our mission to revolutionize wellness services, presenting a strategic opportunity for expansive growth and cross-industry influence.

**Essential Functions and Duties**:

- Pioneering and executing innovative wellness initiatives that redefine the standard of health programs in senior living.
- Facilitating engaging group exercise and wellness classes, meeting the nuanced needs of seniors, and integrating staff into the wellness culture as the program develops.
- Overseeing personalized training and diverse health services, emphasizing holistic well-being, while conducting exercise physiologist sessions.
- Building solid partnerships with community staff to tailor wellness services, enhancing resident life and employee well-being.
- Collaborating with our admin, analyst, and development team to distill health trends and usage data into effective, outcomes-driven wellness programs.
- Adhering to strict confidentiality and security protocols for patient records, complying with HIPAA standards.

**Other Functions and Duties**:

- Providing exceptional customer service, establishing authentic, uplifting connections within the community.
- Continually updating knowledge on senior health trends to maximize program efficacy.
- Assisting in welcoming new residents and staff, fostering a community centered on wellness and self-growth.
- Maintaining excellence in program execution and interpersonal engagements.
- Contributing to an energetic community atmosphere that promotes comprehensive, holistic growth and well-being.

**Requirements**:
Education
- Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology or a related program.
- Certifications/Licenses: Possessing or currently in pursuit of certifications, such as (ACSM-CEP) or (ACSM-EP) Certified Exercise Physiologists (preferred)

Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as an exercise physiologist, preferably within a multidisciplinary setting
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Possesses outstanding judgment in personal training and coaching.
- Has a deep knowledge of various fitness programs, from basic exercises to advanced training sessions.
- Ability to inspire and motivate clients.
- Ability to collaborate with professionals across the health spectrum.
- Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills (proficient in English).
- Affinity for incorporating the company voice and brand into health topics.
- Mindful of our solution focused voice when addressing preventative health outcomes.
- Ability to explain complex health-related phenomena simply and practically.
- Ability to use technology to administer consultations.
- Ability to perform exercises and movements as demonstrations for clients.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to work towards and meet deadlines.
- Possesses the knowledge of research procedures, methods, techniques, statistical principles, measurement theories and data collection instruments. (preferred)
