Part-Time (4 pm-8 pm)

Marlora Post-Acute Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Long Beach, CA, is a medium-sized facility that offers 99 beds. Our focus is on providing exceptional short-term rehabilitation services while participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs. **Requirements**:
1. Must be a high school graduate.

2. At least 6 months of experience working in an office performing support duties.

3. Excellent letter writing skills, knowledge of word processors, and typing skills of 55 wpm.

4. Proficient in filing and record keeping.

5. Must be able to work in a healthcare setting that may involve working with the aged, chronically ill, and disoriented individuals.

6. Ability to complete assigned tasks promptly and efficiently.

7. Must be neat in appearance and dress appropriately for the business office.

The Receptionist will report to the Administrator.

**Job Duties**:
1. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.

2. Greet visitors and provide them with relevant information or refer them to the appropriate department or staff member.

3. Type correspondence for administrators and department heads.

4. File correspondence, forms, records, contracts, and agreements.

5. Maintain and update telephone and cable lists.

6. Perform filing as directed.

7. Maintain AP files.

8. Update vendor contract information.

9. Process invoices and provide weekly updates to the Administrator.

10. Perform any other duties assigned by the Administrator.

11. Keep the Physicians Credentialing Log current.

12.Order all office supplies.

13. Write out receipts for all bank deposits.

14. Distribute employee checks.

15. Ensure the copy room is organized and all forms are current.

16. Distribute faxes.

17. Send, sort, and collect mail.

18. Schedule beauty shop appointments.

19. Follow up with corporate office and vendors for past due invoices.

20. Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
