PURPOSE

The Operations Assistant role is an ideal entry-level role into Hospitality. This role will act as a liaison to our corporate office and restaurant. The Operations Assistant will be responsible for providing overall administrative support to the front-of-house and back-of-the-house management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Assist Chefs and General Managers with invoice review, notifying the team of any errors or discrepancies.
- Overview of employee time cards at the Restaurant, assisting with missed punch list and alert management team on final approvals.
- Assist with all administrative work pertaining to the employee life cycle, which includes but is not limited to: onboarding paperwork, submission of Personnel Actions Forms and termination paperwork.
- Overall recruiting coordination by screening resumes and scheduling interviews for management team
- Review event inquiries and coordinate with management team on event details
- Creation of all BEOs related to events
- Update Employee Communication Boards with Support Center Communications, pre-shift notes, HR updates, and state/local and federal poster updates
- Assist management team with schedule entry in R365
- Post R365 announcements and updated on a daily basis
- Overview of reservation management systems assuring appropriate notes are entered such as: daily VIP information, celebration recap, guest specific notes/ accommodations
- Take notes of weekly manager meetings and send to Operations Leadership team
- Assist with reservations and support Guest Relations Manager as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Strong excel and computer skills
- Ability to organize and multi-task
- Attention to detail is a must
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Good phone manners with excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency & experience in MS Office & Outlook, Restaurant 365 and SEVENROOMS a plus
- Team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with hospitality industry is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
