**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION**:
Responsible for managing the accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of payments, and resolving any discrepancies.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Supervise the accounts receivable team to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
- Maintain and improve the customer credit process per company policy.
- Coordinate with sales, service, and other departments to ensure accurate billing and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Work closely with the sales team to resolve customer disputes and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts receivable reports, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide regular updates to management on the status of accounts receivable and collections efforts.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounts receivable function.
- Develop and update policies and procedures related to accounts receivable to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-4 years experience in accounts receivable and/or customer service
- Seed industry experience is a plus

**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES**:

- Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
- Self-motivated; deadline oriented with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to lead a team
- Able to interface professionally with all levels within the organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to work required hours;
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Must have valid driver license and meet MVR guidelines
