**Job Overview**

Davies Claims North America is looking for a **Clerical Supervisor** to join our growing team Reporting to the Ancillary Services Manager, you will appropriately supervise clerical staff’s job duties, while exercising discretion and independent judgment.

To be successful in this role, you need to be an effective team leader, display an ability to make timely and sound decisions, demonstrate superb problem-solving skills, and be proficient in verbal and written communication. You must have a high school degree or equivalent and have supervisory or management experience. Additionally, you must be able to multi-task, possess excellent organizational and time management skills, and exhibit proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. This role is a full-time, onsite position based out of Lakewood Ranch, FL.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Supervise and monitor performance of clerical staff
- Review and approve time sheets and attendance
- Develop employee performance goals, cross-train employees, and ensure new employees are fully trained
- Facilitate orientation of new employees
- Schedule proper coverage for each clerical position
- Monitor for timely and accurate processing to include opening of mail, scanning, indexing, quick indexing faxes, non-claim related mail, no record, and ex-client mail
- Ensure timely entry of FROI’s/FNOL’s
- Ensure timely mailing of the initial claim packets
- Hold monthly team meetings
- Oversee purge process annually
- Schedule shredding as needed
- Monitor for appropriate supplies
- Oversee after-hours reporting concerns
- Monitor and provide daily fax and indexing numbers to management
- Improve existing procedures, or develop new procedures for efficiency
- Update Clerical Procedure Manual as needed

**Experience and Qualifications**

Required
- High school degree or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred
- College degree
- Supervisory or management experience
