**This position is based in Lowell, MA.**

**A day as a Production Supervisor in Cirtec Medical - WE1 (Friday-Sunday, 5:00am to 3:00pm)**

In this role, you'll orchestrate the production processes, carefully coordinating tasks to fulfill customer requirements, hit production targets, and uphold our quality and cost standards. As a driving force of leadership and motivation, you'll guide your production team, facilitating training, and ensuring adherence to our quality system to create a smoothly operating production environment.

**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned**:
**Key areas of expertise are**:

- Provide leadership and direction to 40-45 Operators and 4 team leads across the associated shift ensuring proper levels of production and quality are met.
- Plan, organize, and schedule production activities (including personnel and equipment) to meet schedules for both standard production and development projects.
- Coordinate hiring and training of new employees along with recording the status of the training
- Preemptively coordinate material and system requirements to ensure minimum amount of downtime and recommend measures to improve production methods, yields, and the quality of product
- Participate on and lead teams that improve safety, quality, and reliability in the production area, as well as teams that support cost saving and team building initiatives (QDC).
- Manage production personnel, including planning personnel needs, participating in the hiring process, and managing performance.

**Must Have**:

- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a relevant field, such as Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Computer literate (MS Office Suite,)
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Experience in technical report writing and verbal communication skills.
- Several years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage conflict, and problem-solve under pressure is crucial.

**Good to have**:

- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- Certifications in areas such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Project Management
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with Contract Manufacturing preferred.
- Prior Experience in a Supervisory Role
