Inventory Control Supervisor

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all business and activity relating to inventory control
- Evaluate stock outages and follow root cause evaluations
- Work with scrap team to assist in process
- Identify and evaluate bottlenecks working on solutions to assist in throughput
- Assists in recruiting, hiring, evaluations and training of inventory clerks
- Compiling stock control records information such as usage, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions to determine stock supply and need for replenishment
- Evaluate and manage inventory levels for finished goods in main facility and DC’s
- Help manage component inventory levels making recommendations to both manufacturing and purchasing
- Define optimal inventory levels and monitoring the inventory levels
- Minimize at risk inventories working with sales and marketing as well as purchasing and manufacturing for slow moving products, dead stock, etc.
- Schedule cycle count program and ensure schedule is followed
- Addresses and resolves inventory issues as they come up
- Assist in managing defective material and its storage
- Track and evaluate transportation and distribution of inventory
- Assist RW as needed to cooperate and implement best practices for inventory, capacity planning, and other things as they come up
- Develop and maintain metrics
- Execute physical inventory

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:
Supervises inventory control staff, and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**Experience**: Required
- 2 year(s): Years of Supervisory experience

Preferred
- Inventory experience is a plus

**Education**: Required
- High School or better
