Reservations and Sales Agent

**Specific Accountabilities**:
- Accept hotel reservations, arrange guests needs prior to arrival. Make notes to appropriate department to follow through with special requests.
- Support Director of Sales with direct bookings, travel agent bookings including but not limited to monitoring OTA’s and hotel inventory.
- Perform front desk duties including, but not limited to checking guests in and out of the hotel, collecting payment and addressing billing concerns, issuing, receiving of keys.
- Serve as a personal assistant to designated guest throughout their stay, acting as liaison to numerous departments regarding all hotel services, making reservations, travel arrangements and fulfilling any other requests.
- Greet and escort guests to their room; assist with personal items, as necessary or as may be requested.
- Maintain complete and accurate knowledge of all property operations.
- Maintain and communicate a thorough understanding of evolving local culture and events.
- Ensure room preparedness by providing feedback on room inspection, signing off on cleanliness, preparation of guest’s preferences, and hotel amenities.
- Adhere to the Hotel Standard Operating Procedures (as updated).
- Other duties as may be assigned.
**Required Skills/Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 1 year as a Reservations Supervisor (or equivalent industry experience).
- 2 years of luxury hotel experience (preferred)
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word & Excel). Knowledge of Opera PMS is preferred.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Be able to work stationary at least 8 hours per day.
- Be able to speak and hear clearly in order to communicate with guests and co-workers.
- Be able to reach and handle the computer, keyboard and desktop items.
- Must have depth perception and balance for overall performance.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
