About Vanderburgh Sober Living_**_ (VSL)_
Founded in 2016, we have planted 38 recovery residences across eight states. Our work includes maintaining a membership organization for sober living operators, supporting impact-focused real estate development, and maintaining the largest directory of recovery residences in the nation.We view our organization as a startup-emphasizing flexibility and innovation as we innovate in the field of addiction recovery and recovery housing. What is a Support Manager?_**
Our Support Manager (SM) role is ideal for a relationship-focused professional looking to develop their leadership skills on a cross-functional team. This full-time position is responsible for equipping recovery residences by supporting Chartered Operators-members of the VSL Community who independently run one or multiple recovery residences. This role will build and maintain a coaching-focused support relationship with each member, conducting new member onboarding and training, establishing new residences, and coordinating across our VSL’s diverse teams to ensure that every member is provided with exceptional service, support, and encouragement. Experience in the field of addiction recovery is preferred, but not required.- What are the _**_responsibilities_**_ of a Support Manager?_
Build and maintain member relationships, fostering growth and development- Respond to support requests, coordinating with VSL teams to ensure appropriate resolution- Conduct on-site member check-ins and provide feedback and encouragement- Work with members to create growth goals, focusing on continuous improvement- Review operational and financial performance of homes and ensure they meet VSL Standards- Help onboard and train new members, promoting a culture of excellence- Engage the recovery community to build referral relationships and expand our impact and reach- What are the _**_qualifications_**_ for this role?_
Commitment to excellence and integrity in your work- Proven experience in leadership, management, support, or coaching roles- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time
- and task-management skills- Customer service oriented, kind-but-assertive, with a collaborative attitude- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools (preferred, but not required)- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to meet members- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, Outlook, and Excel- Experience in the field of addiction recovery (preferred, but not required)- Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems and drive growth**_
What compensation and benefits are offered?_**
Compensation is based on experience, starting at $52,000 per year, including a comprehensive benefits package with generous paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, a 401K plan, and a truly exceptional culture work environment.
