Role Overview
As a Nurse Manager (RN) in PACU Recovery, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality, efficient care. You will work closely with the Director of Surgical Services to coordinate departmental activities and ensure alignment with our facility's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Assist in coordinating departmental participation in Performance Improvement initiatives to foster continuous quality enhancement.
- Ensure nursing care is based on established processes and evaluate its effectiveness regularly.
- Provide clinical support and guidance to nursing staff.
- Foster teamwork and adaptability within the Surgical Services team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree from an accredited nursing program and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a Recovery Room or Day Surgery setting, with supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
- A current Registered Nurse License in Texas or a Multi-State Compact License.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association.
