- Salary range: $97,229.00 - $110,000.00- The NYC Department of Finance (DOF) is responsible for administering the tax revenue laws of the city fairly, efficiently, and transparently to instill public confidence and encourage compliance while providing exceptional customer service.
- The Administration and Planning Division is responsible for the management and oversight of administrative and operational services for the agency. This includes the daily management of Employee Services, Financial Management, the Agency Contract Office, Operational Services, and Diversity & Inclusion Office.
- The Office of Financial Management is responsible for monitoring and controlling the agency’s finances. This includes the development and management of annual expense and capital budgets, accounts payable, travel requests, and other payments. The division also includes the Assigned Counsel Plan (ACP) Payments Unit, which is responsible for processing payment vouchers for 18-b attorneys and experts.
- Supervise a total staff of 11 including two supervisor positions and three temps.
- Responsible for complete oversight of all day-to-day payment operations of the unit and lead resolution of any outstanding payment issues that cannot be solved by supervisors.
- Communicate directly with Office of Court Administration 1st and 2nd Department judges and Family Court judges to resolve their questions on voucher payment.
- Liaise directly with ACP Administrators to answer questions and resolve outstanding issues regarding payment or process.
- Independently lead troubleshooting of any ACP Cases system issues with the vendor and report accordingly to management on any that are significant or unresolved. Oversee punch list items to resolution.
- Lead business requirements gathering for new ACP Cases functionality including the judge voucher e-signature project.
- Monitor spending of the ACP budget in FMS and respond directly to OMB with any inquiries or spending updates.
- Respond to FOIL requests from our Legal Affairs team.
- Attend and be a key member of monthly governance meetings with the Assistant Commissioner, CFO, MOCJ leadership, and OTI representatives.

Minimum Qualifications1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory, full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience requiring independent decision-making concerning program management or planning, allocation for resources and the scheduling and assignment of work, 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory capacity. The supervisory work must have been in the supervision of staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or
2. An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college and five years of satisfactory, full-time progressively responsible experience as described in "1" above, 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory capacity. The supervisory work must have been in the supervision of staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or
3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and six years of
satisfactory, full-time progressively responsible experience as described in "1"
above, 18 months of which must have been in an administrative, managerial,
executive or supervisory capacity. The supervisory work must have been in the
supervision of staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than
moderate difficulty; or
4. Education and/or experience equivalent to "1", "2" or "3" above. However, all
the high school level may be substituted for the general clerical/administrative
experience (but not for the administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory
experience described in "1", "2" or "3" above) at a rate of 30 semester credits
from an accredited college for 6 months of experience up to a maximum of 3½
years.
