Eligible to work with families receiving Child Health Support (CHS) services, and to provide family skills support to families receiving Individual Service Option (ISO) services.

**Duties**:

- Coach parents on emerging skills during visits
- Supervise and document developing skills, as well observed opportunities for growth and additional skill development
- Support families in connecting to long-term community resources
- Provides psycho-educational services on family related matters, such as: child development, parenting, life skills, home management, personal problem solving and accessing community services as appropriate.
- Provides necessary transportation and supervision to facilitate family visitation
- Maintains necessary assessments and documentation in accordance with agency and funding source requirements.
- Participates in all required meetings, including court hearings

- **Completed high school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years’ experience working with families OR**:

- **Completed associates degree in a related field plus 2 years’ experience working with families OR**:

- **Completed bachelor’s degree in a related field**:

- Previous experience in child welfare, childcare, or related field preferred.
- Must have own vehicle, current Driver’s License, mobile insurance with 100,000 / 300,000 coverage, and a valid vehicle registration and inspection
- Strong understanding of child development, family life skills, behavioral health, and trauma-informed care.
- Ability to interact effectively and collaborate with families, colleagues and other professionals.
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural differences
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Computer and database skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Must be cleared via Criminal Background and Driving History review upon hire

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
