Custom store fixture and millwork manufacturer in Northeast Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for Hardware Department. Detail oriented, self-motivated individual needed for fast paced environment. Requires basic knowledge of furniture hardware and fasteners. Responsibilities include pulling and staging Bill of Materials for shop floor production. Strong communication skills and customer service mindset required.
**Responsibilities**:
- Receive incoming materials and hardware from delivery trucks
- Pull hardware from shelves and pack according to work orders for delivery to production floor
- Sort hardware and material for stocking shelves
- Oversee shipments via courier service
- Ensure stockroom organization is maintained
- Coordinate company tuck schedule, dispatch drivers, and facilitate internal communication
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma/GED
- Proficiency in math and computers highly needed
- General knowledge of fasteners and cabinetry hardware is a plus
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
