**Employee Relations Coordinator**

**Work Schedule: 5 Days; Up to 3 days remote per week**

**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

Pinellas County has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a creative and highly motivated Human Resources professional. The Workforce Relations Division is seeking an experienced and versatile individual who has the skills and ability to handle various Human Resources related functions.

**WHAT WOULD YOU DO?**
- **Performance Management**: Assisting in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
- **Training and Development**: Identifying training needs, coordinating, and conducting training programs, promoting professional development opportunities for employees.
- **Policy Development and Compliance**: Interpret and enforce work rules. Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, developing, and updating policies and procedures, and educating supervisors on said policies.
- **Exit Interview and Data Management**: As part of an offboarding procedure, you will be responsible for conducting employee exit interviews, and maintaining accurate meeting notes, and any other exit related information for data retention.
- **Reporting and Analysis**: Compiling metrics and preparing reports on key HR indicators, such as turnover rates, recruitment metrics, and diversity statistics. Information derived from Exit Interviews. Performance Evaluations and other available data sources.
- **Employee Engagement**: Develop practical solutions/programs that address needs involving recognition programs, policy development, and performance incentive programs.
- **Employee Relations**: Serving as a point of contact for departments and employee concerns, addressing and assisting with disciplines and employee grievances in an effort to maintain a positive work environment.
- **Conflict Resolution**: Identify and assist with mediation conflicts between employees or management and implement strategies to resolve workplace issues effectively.
- **Salary Administration**: Review compensation, assist departments with salary offers for new hires and promotions, compare internal equity, monitor credential compliance, and approve career advancement programs such as Career Path/Ladders, and Special Merits.

**Department Representation**: Pinellas County has 19 individual departments. You will be designated as one of the respective Workforce Relations representatives and will be issued some of these departments. As their representative, you will assist the department with initiatives and processes aimed at improving our organizational culture.

**WHAT DO YOU NEED TO HAVE?**
- Working technical knowledge of compensation, recruitment, benefits administration, laws and regulations, and employee relations expertise.
- Applicants may qualify for the position with a bachelor’s degree and at least four years of related experience.
