Compliance Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prevailing Wage Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to prevailing wage regulations at both state and federal levels.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of prevailing wage requirements and implement necessary procedures to ensure compliance.
- Familiar with prevailing wage rates and schedules
2. Experience with Regulatory Bodies:
- Demonstrate familiarity with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), the Nevada Office of Labor Commissioner, the Arizona Department of Labor Standards, and Davis-Bacon Act regulations.
- Proven track record of ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations governing labor and construction practices.
3. Union and Apprenticeship Compliance:
- Manage all union apprenticeship requirements and ensure compliance with union agreements.
- Experience working with union Project Labor Agreements (PLAs) in a non-union shop environment.
4. New Hire Documentation:
- Oversee the completion of new hire documentation, including I-9 verification, in compliance with federal regulations.
- Ensure all new hires meet regulatory requirements before commencing work.
5. Security Badge Coordination:
- Liaise with entities such as hospitals and airport authorities (e.g., LAWA) to facilitate the acquisition of security badges for project personnel.
- Ensure timely issuance and renewal of security badges as required.
6. Background Checks:
- Perform background checks on employees and subcontractors as per project and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of background check results and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage immunization records for installers and other personnel in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all personnel are compliant with immunization policies.
7. OCIP/CCIP Insurance Management:
- Oversee OCIP/CCIP insurance programs and ensure compliance with all related requirements.
- Coordinate with insurance providers and project teams to manage insurance documentation effectively.
8. Audit Response:
- Respond to audit requests from all relevant entities in a timely and comprehensive manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation for audits.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 year of experience in construction industry compliance.
- Strong understanding of prevailing wage regulations, insurance programs, and other compliance requirements.
- Experience with California DIR and Davis-Bacon Act compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in utilizing compliance management portals and software.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
