Fabrication Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities**_
- **Project Coordination**: Manage and coordinate the entire fabrication process from initial design to final production, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- **CAD and Blueprint Reading**: Utilize CAD software to create and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- **Material Management**: Oversee the procurement and inventory of raw materials and supplies, ensuring that all materials meet quality standards and are available when needed.
- **Bill of Materials (BOM)**: Create and manage BOMs for all projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- **Quality Control**: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet the company’s high standards and customer specifications.
- **Production Scheduling**: Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize efficiency and output, balancing workload and capacity.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with design, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the fabrication process.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of all fabrication activities, including work orders, material usage, and quality control reports.
- **Problem Solving**: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all fabrication activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- **Qualifications**_
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing coordination role, preferably in the flooring or construction industry.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, suppliers, and customers.
- **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- **Problem-Solving**: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
