At Abundant Blessings, it is our mission to continue the fight, to end homelessness through providing short-term or long-term crisis supportive housing services and necessary resources, for people who are experiencing homelessness, prolonged poverty, and poor health, have support to lead safe, stable lives as they transition to permanent housing. We do this by employing the most qualified staff, dedicated volunteers and partnerships that believe in everyone’s potential and ability to feel successful as defined in their own terms.

**Summary**:
The Assistant Site Supervisor, along with the Site Supervisor, will support the culture of a community-based, client-centered, and trauma-responsive organization. The position will focus on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and will assist with the development of their living/life skills. Additionally, The Assistant Site Supervisor will also work in collaboration with the Site Supervisor and the Case Managers in mitigating barriers the client has in getting into permanent housing.

**Description**:
The Assistant Site Supervisor is responsible for amplifying the voice of clients in the program through relational and responsive facility supervision. Abundant-Blessings is prioritizing innovative perspectives on empowering clients beyond typical feedback or low motivation. Abundant Blessings is looking for a dynamic advocate to support Clients and their needs while they are housed in our home-like shelter facilities.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist Site Supervisor with Daily Task
- Provide direct support to those living in emergency shelters.
- Review Attendance on HMIS, in the absence of the Site Supervisor.
- Slack Bed Availability and Do Attendance on HMIS by 8:30 AM, in the absence of the Site Supervisor.
- Assist with End of Shift Briefing with staff about the day’s facility activities.
- Print Out Weekly Sheets for Next Week (Attendance Trackers, Client Weekly Activities Sheet, Site Coordinator Check List, and Safe Count for Petty Cash and Laundry), in the absence of the Site Supervisor. Upload Weekly Sheets from Binder.
- Print Out Monthly Sheets for the following month at the end of each month (Shift Handover Report, Sanitation Log, Monthly Inspection Checklist, Site and Asst. Site Supervisors Checklist, Sign In Sheet Checklist), in the absence of the Site Supervisor. Upload all necessary forms to Dropbox as indicated.
- Assist with Monthly House Meeting by gathering participants for meeting time. Also, contribute to the meeting agenda.
- Oversees building and grounds maintenance needs by informing Upper Management of the issues through the Slack app.
- Organize and Review all Sign-In Sheets and Meal Log Sheets
- Ensure refrigerators and kitchen cabinets are organized and cleaned.
- Ensure overall cleanliness of the facility including rooms.
- Relay Information from “All Staff” Meeting, to necessary frontline staff.
- Light Housekeeping and maintains custodial functions through support staff (Site Coordinators).
- Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
- Handles petty cash for laundry, cigarettes (certain sites), and for emergencies only.
- Assists in regular facility inspections.
- Communicates living space safety precautions to Clients.
- Adopts an “whatever-it-takes” approach in assisting clients to return to independent living.
- Assist with on-boarding of clients enrolling into program.
- Other duties as assigned by Site Supervisor and Upper Management

**Accountability and Review**:

- Position reports to:

- Performance review: 3-month probationary period with a performance review, followed by Annual reviews.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma
- Experience In Human Services Field
- Experience in working with at-risk and/or Homeless individuals and/or families.
- Education or experience in cultural competency
- Familiarity With Los Angeles County homeless resources preferred.
- Valid Clean Driver’s License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Internship

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
