Responsible for: The Housing Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of interim housing facilities. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including residents, staff, service providers, and external partners, to ensure the effective functioning of the site and the well-being of its occupants. The coordinator will handle administrative tasks, manage resources, and provide support to residents as they transition through temporary housing solutions..

 

  1. Site Management: Supervise all aspects of the interim housing site, including security, maintenance, cleanliness, and overall safety.
  2. Resident Support: Provide assistance and support to residents, including intake procedures, case management, conflict resolution, and referrals to relevant services.
  3. Coordination: Collaborate with social service agencies, government entities, and community organizations to facilitate access to resources such as healthcare, education, employment, and housing.
  4. Staff Supervision: Directly manage on-site staff members, including case managers, security personnel, maintenance staff, and volunteers.
  5. Administration: Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to resident demographics, services provided, incidents, and site operations.
  6. Budgeting and Resource Management: Assist in the development and management of the site's budget, including monitoring expenses, procurement of supplies, and allocation of resources.
  7. Crisis Management: Respond to emergencies and crises promptly, implementing appropriate protocols and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
  8. Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with the surrounding community, addressing concerns, promoting understanding, and facilitating volunteer opportunities.
  9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and contractual obligations governing the operation of the interim housing site.

 

Company DescriptionSouthern California Health & Rehabilitation Program (SCHARP) was founded February 1994 as a non-profit entity for the purpose of providing mental health and rehabilitation services to vulnerable ethnic minority populations in Southern California Los Angeles Founded by two African American psychiatrists who were disillusioned with the traditional services provided to severely and persistently mentally ill individuals who are members of minority groups, they targeted this population, along with homeless mentally ill and homeless dually diagnosed. The mission of Southern California Health and Rehabilitation Program (SCHARP) is to provide quality mental health and social services to vulnerable populations in South Los Angeles.
