Under the direct supervision of the_ Associate Director/Program Director_ of the USD College Corps Fellowship Program and the_ Senior Director for Student Social & Economic Mobility_ the **Student & Community Partner Experience Coordinator **(Coordinator) will serve as a liaison between the University of San Diego College Corps Program, its community partners, and student fellows. This role combines community engagement, student retention activities, and administrative support to enhance both the success and experiences of students and community partners.

The Coordinator will implement and manage a wide range of projects, working closely with various university departments, community partners, and students. This role includes organizing programmatic events, supporting academic and social activities for fellows, developing training and programming for community partners, maintaining office records, and providing high-level administrative support. This position requires initiative, problem-solving skills, and independent judgment in handling sensitive information and coordinating activities. The Coordinator will also collaborate with other USD College Corps staff and affiliated departments to ensure exceptional support and engagement for all stakeholders. This role will facilitate training for other USD College Corps Coordinators on Community Partner support and serve as the primary point of contact for coordinators regarding Community Partner-related inquiries.

As a role with a niche emphasis in community partner support and experience, the Coordinator may also support the USD College Corps Director with preparing and maintaining records, MOUs, reports, and relieving of routine administrative tasks.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Supervision and Administrative Responsibilities:

- Supervise and support College Corps Fellows, including scheduling, training, and overseeing their work outcomes.
- Perform administrative support duties to assist in the coordination of community engagement and student retention operations.
- Support in the processing of student reimbursements and payments, and manage supply purchases for community engagement events.
- Maintain accurate and detailed calendars, develop forms and record-keeping systems, and manage confidential information.
- Assist students in following departmental and University guidelines including procedures; adhering to institutional policies, and academic procedures.

Community Partnerships:

- Support with processing and maintaining MOUs with community partners to ensure democratic, reciprocal, and equitable collaboration.
- Serve as a support for community partners and fellow coordinators, addressing programmatic and policy-related questions.
- Facilitate training and onboarding for community partners and manage requests related to space reservation, transportation, and event support alongside other coordinators.
- Develop and deliver training programs for community partners to ensure they are well-equipped to support the College Corps Fellows and collaborate effectively.
- Represent the College Corps Program at outreach events and conferences, and support the creation of Fellow job descriptions.
- Attend required state trainings and meetings around community partnerships and their evaluations
- Work alongside a respective cohort of community partners and their assigned fellows to create feasible completion plans and support their efforts.
- Conduct site visits and community partner check-ins frequently and maintain an open line of communication.

Program Development and Outreach:

- Exercise independent judgment within the scope of duties/projects as designated by the supervisor.
- Schedule and conduct outreach and recruitment functions for the University of San Diego’s College Corps Fellowship Program in collaboration with USD Undergraduate Admissions, Center for Inclusion and Diversity, TRiO Programs, and various campus and community partners.
- Coordinate with Mulvaney Center and College Corps team to produce outreach materials to aid in the development of sustainable recruitment practices for the College Corps Fellowship Program.
- Coordinate recruitment functions, such as college nights and university fairs, in collaboration with various campus partners.

Student Engagement, Experience, and Retention:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for 43 assigned fellows, providing support to other fellows in the program as needed. Responsibilities include regularly scheduled check-ins to ensure academic success, monitoring and reporting on overall program engagement, assisting with financial support, and facilitating referrals to campus resources such as the Counseling Center, Office of Financial Aid, OneStop Student Center, Center for Student Success, and other relevant campus partners
