For 80 years, we have been one of upstate New York’s largest providers of programs and services for individuals who have disabilities. Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.
We are searching for a **Director of Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance **to join our team. This position is based out of our 314 South Manning Blvd location in Albany, NY
**Responsibilities**:
The Director of Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance is responsible for the direction, development, and implementation of the quality improvement and quality assurance plans, programs, and initiatives of the Center for Disability Services and Prospect Center, while working closely with the executives of all program divisions to monitor and evaluate programs and the quality of services delivered for outcome effectiveness, service-recipient and family satisfaction, staff performance, and compliance with agency mission and defined quality standards, and applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in field of in field of Management, Business, Health Administration, Finance, or related human services field
- Specialized training, license, certification, skills: Investigator Trained (e.g., Justice Center, OPWDD or equivalent
- At least 5 years of job related experience, specifically in management of programs for individuals with disabilities, management of quality assurance and improvement programs, health, education, or residential programs with responsibilities for quality assurance and improvement.
- Position requires routine lifting, bending, pushing, pulling in the course of handling files and supplies, etc. up to 15 - 25 lbs.
The compensation range for this position is **$75,000 - $85,000**. Rate of pay is commensurate on experience.
