**JOB SUMMARY**

Manages a variety of general office accounting activities and responsible for accounts receivable for IL/AL and accounts payable. Compiles and maintains records by performing the following duties.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction.
- Obtains and mails invoices and statements for residents. Explains resident statements to new residents as necessary. Answers all resident inquiries.
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. Assists in monthly closings.
- Checks and approves all vouchers for payment.
- Answers all vendor and resident inquiries.
- Prepares accounts payable checks. Prints accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
- Calls and/or mail correspondence to vendors as necessary in order to update accounts
- Prepares daily cash deposits and fills out cash control sheets Performs bank deposits and files bank receipts.
- Obtains and mails invoices and statements for residents timely and accurately.
- Prepares activities reports for guidance of management.
- Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts.

- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and procedures manuals, safety rules and maintenance instructions; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
