Ocean Group is looking for an Accounts Payables Clerk who is dynamic, positive, and a self-sufficient professional. The Accounts Payables Clerk processes revenue, cash/banking information, accounts receivables and accounts payables transactions for all Ocean Group Companies. If you are detailed-oriented, this position role can give you the chance to develop your interest and talents not only in finances but also in business. You will play an essential roll in the success for Ocean Group by ensuring that we are in good financial shape. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Processes outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
Reconcile the accounts payables ledger, for main and sub companies to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
Preparing bills, invoices, and bank deposits.
Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
Print accounts payable checks and match with approved vendor invoices.
Perform same duties for multiple sub companies.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
Data entry skills
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Ect.)
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in English (Japanese, Vietnamese, and Korean a plus)
BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
