**REQUIREMENTS**
- Associate Degree or equivalent (including Medical Assistant and other relevant certifications)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and comfort with technology
- Experience working in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare environment

**KEY JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Receive inbound phone calls from existing and potential patients
- Manage administrative functions including benefits verification, invoicing, payment processing, and accounts receivable activities
- Serve as front-line resource for referral sources (hospitals, surgery centers, etc.)
- Potentially room patient and fulfill some medical assistant responsibilities such as taking vital signs, supporting patient education, assisting with prescriptions, etc.
