**Job Title**: Production Supervisor 1

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Provide first-line supervisor oversight to daily operations, including direct reports on the shift/crew.
- Incorporate Safety into all aspects of the operation and ensure that safe working conditions, actions and practices exist and are followed at all times.
- Proven technical aptitude necessary to provide guidance to employees in the performance of their duties.
- Achieve high levels of efficiency in the use of equipment, machinery, raw materials and labor. - Lead role in training and developing of assigned employees in the skills needed to achieve key performance metrics.
- Able to build rapport with employees through effective communication and engagement efforts.
- Must be willing to uphold and enforce company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
- Adaptable to shift assignment and overtime requirements.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Must meet the requirements for a supervisor as established in the plant Operator rate Program.
- Prior experience as a supervisor in a full-time or relief role is preferred but not required.
- Business minded, people and results oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
- Self-starter, excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership potential including personal accountability, decision-making and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to develop relationships in a diverse workforce environment by prioritizing coaching and engagement.
