Join Our Team as a Quality Supervisor

SUMMARY

The main responsibility of the Quality Supervisor is overseeing measuring, testing, and inspection activities on the production floor. They are in charge of managing the work schedule and troubleshooting any irregularities that may arise.

Additionally, the Supervisor plays a vital role in fostering effective communication to ensure the overall safety and team spirit among team members. They must have a solid grasp of ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet delivery standards.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:



• Prior experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader, preferably within a manufacturing setting.


• Ability to tackle unexpected circumstances and resolve issues while following quality, cost, and delivery standards.


• Fundamental understanding of TPS methodologies.


• Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Abilities.


• Outstanding Problem-Solving and Decision-Making Skills.


• Strong emphasis on punctuality and attendance.


• Capability to manage workloads effectively by prioritizing tasks and handling multiple responsibilities.


• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:



• Coordinating customer complaints and sorting activities.


• Planning work assignments, providing training to new hires.


• Managing laboratory equipment and supplies.


• Supervising gauge calibration systems.


• Creating and updating work instructions.


• Issuing SCAR and ECAR's as needed.


• Collaborating with QA for necessary customer approval tests.


• Motivating staff members and resolving conflicts.


• Evaluating employee performance.


• Contributing to continuous improvement processes.


• Overseeing trials for new components.


• Providing support to the manager as required to meet department goals.


• Coaching and guiding team members on their responsibilities.


• Implementing corrective actions when necessary.



KEY JOB TASKS:

• Working Off Shift as necessary.

• Adhering to company policies and regulations.


• Collaborating with other departments to achieve targets and goals through problem-solving techniques.


• Monitoring daily attendance, approving/disapproving leave requests, and responding to absenteeism.


• Training Team Leaders, Lead Operators, and Team Members.


• Leading Kaizen initiatives.


• Conducting countermeasure activities.


• Calculating Kanban requirements.


• Organizing and leading Beginning Shift Meetings.



Salary Range:
$60,000+ (Dependent on experience)
