This position will support sales and internal materials functions to meet the demands of sales revenue, decrease total cost of product ownership, on time delivery from suppliers and measuring of KPIs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Sourcing, qualifying, and developing new product lines under private label production sources across the globe with expansion and offerings intended.
- Manage, review, and initialize suppliers to RCD while working within AS9100 guidelines.
- Create and manage POs for new suppliers.
- Drive procurement best practices to support ongoing growth.
- Schedule and host interactive meetings worldwide via phone and/or MS Teams with suppliers.
- Provide support to the Director of Operations with reports, ie. Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Calculate supplier On Time Delivery and Quality scores.
- A highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
- Will be a results-oriented individual and possess organizational skills with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.
- Possess proven analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables and MRP acumen.
- Experience in manufacturing/distribution environment.
- Maintain a high level of critical thinking with the ability to manage vendors and pivot as needed.
**Experience/Education**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in comparable area of study or the equivalent of work experience to education.
- Experience: 5+ years’ experience in Purchasing and Planning
