Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Job Description
This position involves sourcing and managing a wide range of purchase requisitions to support production operations in alignment with internal policies. The role requires strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a keen understanding of supply chain dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate purchasing activities and process requisitions efficiently
- Analyze demand and source suppliers for price and availability
- Monitor supplier delivery and negotiate terms
- Handle RMA's and expedite orders as needed
- Resolve AP/AR issues and drive profitability through cost analysis
- Research alternative suppliers for critical parts
- Manage engineering changes and procurement policies
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in purchasing components
- Knowledge of Contract Manufacturing and Mechanical Operations
- Strong project management skills and proficiency in ERP systems
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Self-motivated, team player with initiative
