Job Title: Activity Assistant

Overview:
**Duties**:

- Plan and implement a variety of activities to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
- Assist in organizing and executing events, outings, and programs that promote socialization and overall well-being
- Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Collaborate with the recreational therapy team to develop personalized activity plans
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Strong organizational skills for effective schedule management
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices is a plus
- Familiarity with assisted living or nursing home environments
- Ability to assist in event planning and coordination

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
