In this role, you will have the opportunity to flex your recruiting skills by managing all recruiting and onboarding processes, collaborate on many different aspects of HR, and bring your creativity to the table to continue to make Emmanuel Hospice a great place to work

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates new hire screenings, paperwork, and equipment, including background checks and medical physicals.
- Prepares new staff for orientation by coordinating with Education Manager and updating required systems as necessary.
- Assists with HR services including payroll, HR policies, Employee handbook, job descriptions, recruitment, HR law/regulation compliance, performance management, discipline, unemployment, employee safety and satisfaction.
- Manages Leave of Absence processes, including coordinating FMLA, STD, and workers compensation paperwork and leave tracking.
- Oversees new hire/open benefits enrollment and keeps vendor databases up to date.
- Maintains accurate and up to date employee files in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Adds and removes staff from programs, creates new employee logins, and assists with employee password resets.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related area required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience required, healthcare recruiting experience preferred. 
- Experience in HRIS/payroll software required; ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products required, experience with Apple products preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
