Accounting / Payroll Analyst (Timesheet)

**This is for a timekeeping person who will do data entry and help with payroll tickets.**

**This is an Onsite position at Abbott Park 5 days a week. Also, can consider 8:30 to 5:0pm**

**Position Summary**:

- Responsible for entering and validating payroll information, creating and maintaining payroll files and time record batches, researching and resolving time card questions,
- and participating in special projects.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Create new hire folders
- File paperwork into employee files
- Distribute checks and reports to divisional contacts
- Work with HR Representatives to resolve employee issues
- Participate in special projects
- Research and resolve employee related questions/issues
- Comply with company policies as well and state/ federal, DOL & SOX regulations

**Required Qualifications**:

- 1+ year of general business experience in customer service, call center, and/or in a help desk environment
- Beginning level proficiency with Excel (perform basic formulas)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers
- Preferred Qualifications:

- Associates Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field discipline

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Associate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounting or payroll background: 2 years (preferred)
- entering and validating payroll information: 2 years (preferred)
- maintaining payroll files and time record batches,: 2 years (preferred)
- researching and resolving time card questions,: 2 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- North Chicago, IL 60064 (preferred)
