McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston Department of Neurology is seeking an experienced Endovascular/Stroke Neurologist to serve on the campus of Memorial Hermann Hospital at Memorial City, a DNV-certified (Det Norske Veritas) Comprehensive Stroke Center. This full-time faculty member will be responsible for sustaining and growing an already robust endovascular program at the hospital and partnering with neurocritical care and neurosurgery colleagues to expand cerebrovascular services.

**Position Key Accountabilities**:
Clinical responsibilities would include in-patient service and endovascular coverage. Protected time for administrative responsibilities is built into the schedule to ensure continued quality metrics, develop stroke services, and obtain JCO stroke certification. Experience and training with endovascular treatments for stroke, cerebral aneurysms, Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), and other cerebrovascular diseases is required.

Physicians with experience enrolling patients into clinical trials are strongly encouraged to apply. The position is affiliated with the McGovern Medical School, the 6th largest medical school in the nation, a robust Neurology residency program and an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) vascular neurology fellowship program.

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate of an ACGME-certified neurology residency
- ACGME vascular neurology fellowship and/or Neuro/ICU training.
- Successfully completed a 2-year Endovascular fellowship, or equivalent training.
- Active board-certifications and be licensed in the State of Texas (or eligible to be licensed).
- Experience and training with endovascular treatments for stroke, cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) and other cerebrovascular diseases.
