Maintenance Coordinator

**Position Summary**:
Coordinates and is responsible for ongoing maintenance, preventative maintenance, maintenance systems, property and asset protection, and major repairs.
**Essential Functions**:
- Conduct facility and equipment inspections and identify maintenance and housekeeping needs, and report findings to supervisor for plan of action
- Manages daily maintenance requests and ensures work is done in a timely manner
- Regularly performs maintenance tasks, equipment repair, and facility repairs that may include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, small engine repair, automotive, HVAC, and equipment repair
- Tracks maintenance and custodial supplies for facilities and anticipates needs to ensure materials and supplies are on hand
- Supports custodial and program staff as needed, ensuring camp is sanitary, clean and meets guest expectations
- Collaborates with maintenance director and other department directors on developing preventative maintenance plan
- Inspect vehicles for safety and cleanliness on a regular basis
- Implements inventory control, preventative maintenance, and other programs
- Ensure protection and proper care of assets
- Follow and enforce safety and risk standards, other policies and procedures including but not limited to the Safety Data Information book
- Follow camp and Association policies and procedures for health and safety
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings and other YMCA functions as required by Supervisor
- Maintain open lines of communication with participants, staff and supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
- **_ Education & Certifications_**:
- Must be 21 years of age
- First Aid and CPR certification required
- Must have a current drivers license meet YMCA insurance requirements to operate Y vehicles
- Associates degree in Facilities Management or related field
- Additional experience may offset some of the educational requirement
- **_ Additional Requirements_**: Criminal Clearance: Including Fingerprints and background clearance, TB Test, and health screening
- **_ Experience & Background:_**
- 10+ years of maintenance and facilities experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, Word and Outlook, use of office machines, and organizational skills required.
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory role required.
- ** Complete all required pre-employment online training(s).**
**Physical Demands**:
- Environmental Factors_: Indoor and outdoor facilities (schools, parks, camps, and recreational sites); exposure to heat, cold, potentially hazardous chemicals, toxic materials; work on slippery or uneven surfaces. Noise level is usually moderate.
