Monona Catering is the Exclusive Catering service provider for the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center. They offer catering services for small as well as large groups, ranging from 2 to 2,000 or more, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between. The working hours may vary every week, depending on the business being booked in the building. However, we offer you the flexibility to change your availability weekly, and we will not schedule you outside of your availability. Although experience is preferred, we will train the right person to join our team. We provide discounted parking as well as uniforms and meals.
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of delicious baked goods. If you have experience in cake decorating, catering, and a love for creating delectable pastries, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities: - Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies - Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity - Follow recipes and ensure accurate measurements of ingredients - Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area - Package finished products for display or delivery - Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and menu items - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Baker or similar role in the food industry - Knowledge of various baking techniques and methods - Ability to operate baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters - Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills - Creativity and artistic ability for cake decorating - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members If you are passionate about baking and creating mouthwatering treats, we would love to hear from you.
