Key Responsibilities
  • Decorate Cakes and Baked Goods: Use your creativity and skills to design and decorate cakes, cookies, and other baked goods to meet customer requests.
  • Bakery Operations: Assist in the operation of the bakery department, including baking, frying, and preparing baked goods for sale.
  • Merchandising and Display: Maintain a clean and attractive bakery department, including pricing, dating, and displaying baked goods.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and making recommendations to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise, including baked goods and supplies.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all baked goods meet quality standards, including taste, texture, and appearance.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents; basic mathematical skills; detail-oriented.
  • Physical Demands: May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
