As a **Sales Account Representative**, you will build new relationships and expand business with existing customers within an assigned territory or industry, focusing on the public sector. You'll be responsible for all aspects of the sale, including price negotiations, contract development, and order fulfillment. This is a great opportunity for you to work in a high-growth environment with partner sales and services organizations and IT and business executives to develop and carry out strategic sales plans.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Strategically drive sales of Oracle Cloud services across government sectors, including state, local, federal, and DoD agencies.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key governmental decision-makers to address their unique cloud requirements and objectives.
- Collaborate with Tharseo IT's technical, marketing, and project management teams to develop customized Oracle Cloud solutions that meet specific agency needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards relevant to cloud deployments in government settings.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to a variety of government stakeholders, clearly articulating the technical and business benefits of Oracle Cloud.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through to deal closure, including proposal generation, contract negotiation, and finalization.
- Consistently achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets

**What you'll need**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of successful quota carrying sales experience
- 3+ years of solutions sales experience in software or high-tech offerings and services
- Experience selling in a direct and partner model
- Exceptional background in quota attainment
- Experience working in government or public sector sales.
- Established network within the public sector and a deep understanding of government procurement processes.
- Proven strategic thinking abilities regarding business, product, and technical challenges in the Public Sector.
- A history of successful technology adoption and solution implementation in government contexts.
