The Team Member Engagement Specialist is a valuable addition to our People and Culture department. This position plays a pivotal role in formulating and executing strategies aimed at bolstering Team Member engagement within both our retail stores, outlets and community center. This role should demonstrate a successful history of enhancing organizational culture. Collaborating closely with our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team is essential to guarantee that all activities and initiatives are accommodating and reflective of our multifaceted workforce.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute innovative team member engagement strategies that foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Travel to various locations to implement engagement programs and to gather feedback directly from team members through focus groups.
- Measure effectiveness of engagement initiatives through surveys and other feedback mech
- Collaborate with the DEI team to co-create events and initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion and belonging.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of Team Member engagement activities and events at multiple locations.
- Design and develop digital signage, flyers, and visuals to boost awareness around internal activities and events.
- Develop and implement an onboarding listening strategy to understand the experiences and needs of new hires, enhancing their integration into Goodwill Central Texas.
- Partner with Human Resource Business Partners around exit interviews to gather insights on workplace culture, team member satisfaction, utilizing this data to improve retention strategies.
- Administer and analyze annual engagement surveys to measure team member satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the Team Member Milestones program, which celebrates the anniversaries of our Team Members.
- Assist in Goodwill Central Texas branding initiatives to position the organization as the Employer of Choice.
- Work with all other departments to promote their programs and initiatives within the organization.
- Maintain close relationships with departments to understand their engagement needs.
- Promote a culture of inclusivity and belonging that embraces the contributions of all Team Members.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Supervisory Responsibility**

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

**Required Skills** & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years’ experience working with survey data and preparing presentation decks for leaders to communicate results to Team Members.
- 3+ years of experience in employee engagement, corporate events, HR or a related area.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people.
- High degree of creativity and innovation in developing engagement programs.
- Ability to travel extensively to retail locations are required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization to meet deadlines.
- An expert of time management and prioritizing tasks.
- Exceptional organizational skills.

**Physical Requirements**
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
- The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
