Cody Builders Supply specializes in fabricating metal components for large projects such as wastewater treatment plants, fish hatcheries and train station renovations. Our products are shipped nationwide.

Job Overview:
As an Inventory Officer at Cody Builders Supply, you will be in the Purchasing Department and responsible for the organization and storage of the raw metal materials at our three shop locations. This job is demanding, and will be great for someone who wants to be busy with work, likes solving problems and likes to be organized, and can take complete control and really own this process. We require the following tests: tape measure, aptitude, IQ, personnel potential and pass a drug test.

**Responsibilities**:

- Records and stores the inventory for raw materials and hardware at applicable shop locations
- Fully manages the process to track and locate raw materials and hardware to ensure accurate and efficient retrievals
- Will use various forklifts to organize metal pieces
- Complete data entry from drawings (blueprints) and excel spreadsheets
- Will work with Yard Managers to organize storage areas and optimize space utilization

Qualifications:

- Must be willing and able to operate a forklift (we can train)
- Must be able to work outside in the heat or cold (with periodic breaks)
- Must be able to use a computer for data entry
- Experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or construction environment is a plus
- Above to lift, shift or move material that weights 50-75 lbs. as needed
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience or familiarity with production planning processes and inventory control best practices is a plus
- Must be able to use and understand the system of organization for raw material and hardware at each shop
- Must be able to drive a vehicle and/or a truck and have a good driving record
- Must pass a company-paid drug test

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
