**Designer I**
- **Designer I**:0-2 years of design experience
- 1+ year of substation or utility experience preferred
- General understanding of electrical, mechanical, and civil design concepts.
- Strong AutoCAD knowledge and abilities.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal guidance but knows when to get others involved.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Skills: Strong math skills including geometry and trigonometry required to perform complex calculations. Effective oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills (including technical writing). Excellent communication skills.**Designer II & III**
- **Designer II**: 3+ years of design experience
- **Designer III**: 5+ years of design experience
- 1+ year of substation or utility experience preferred
- Strong AutoCAD knowledge and abilities.
- General understanding of electrical, mechanical, and civil design concepts.
- Ability to think analytically and solve technical problems.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, related codes, and standards.
- Knowledge of company design and operating standards.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal guidance but knows when to get others involved.
- Experience with interpreting technical drawings (i.e. onelines, outline diagrams) is a plus.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Skills: Strong math skills including geometry and trigonometry required to perform complex calculations. Effective oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills (including technical writing).
