**THE POSITION**:
**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:

- As a Corrections Facility Maintenance Manager for the Department of Corrections, you will be responsible for planning, assigning, directing, and coordinating the daily operations of the facility maintenance. You will determine staffing needs and priorities based on facility goals and objectives. You will also prepare an annual department budget for submission. In this role, you will provide supervisory oversight to facility maintenance and trades staff in the performance of routine and specialized maintenance, construction, and repair tasks.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment (40-hour work week)
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- Two years of experience as a Building Maintenance Foreman, Utility Plant Supervisor, or Corrections Tradesman Instructor with a specialty in one of the trades of Carpentry, Electrical, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Machinist, Welding, Painting, Automotive, Electronics, or Masonry; **or**:

- Six years of experience in the construction, maintenance or repair of buildings; or the operation, maintenance and repair of utility services equipment, including two years in a managerial or supervisory capacity; **or**:

- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Other Requirements**:

- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
