Under the supervision of the Director of the Student Affairs Information and Research office (SAIRO), the Program Coordinator manages major programming, training, communication, event, campaign, and cross-unit collaborations for the divisional departments of Communications, Organizational Development, Student Affairs Information and Research Office (SAIRO), and Finance and Human Resources. The Program Coordinator will also lead the development of departmental internship programs and career opportunities for UCLA students. Position will also support data management and coordinate stakeholder engagement across divisional departments, including the administration and analysis of surveys, organization of office resources, respond to inquiries from various departments, staff, vendors, and other stakeholders, and collaborate to support cross-functional initiatives. This is a full-time contract position for 12 months with the possibility of yearly extensions up to 4 years. Salary & Compensation: *UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. - 3-5 years Of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Graduation from college with three to five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- Proven experience in project management, or partnership development, preferably in a collaborative or shared program environment. (required)
- Ability to learn and deliver customer service skills such as interacting in a friendly, professional manner and responding quickly and appropriately to requests. (required)
- Ability to exercise independent judgement, take initiative, be resourceful and make decisions. (required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present information clearly and effectively to individuals, small and large groups. (required)
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate student programs and support services. (required)
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships. (required)
- Skills using word-processing, database management, spreadsheet, presentation, electronic mail, and other software in a windows environment required. Web design and maintenance skills a plus. Familiarity With BruinBuy a plus. (required)
- Ability to work as part of a team, be detail-oriented, organized, and handle changing priorities and conflicting deadlines. Work is in an active office. (required)
