The mission of The Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center (The Ashe Center) is to support UCLA students in the successful attainment of their educational goals through the personalized delivery of accessible, high-quality health and wellness services, rendered with kindness and competence, by diligent, dedicated professionals. Our comprehensive services include Primary Care, Gynecology Services, Immunizations, Travel Medicine, Physical Therapy, Specialty Clinics, Radiology & Laboratory, and Acupuncture - all under one roof We are also pleased to offer additional services in the Ackerman Student Union: a full-service optometry center, U See LA Optometry, and the Bruin Health Pharmacy. UCLA's student health center and its suite of services consistently rank as best in the nation. Most recently, the wellness fintech brand Ness awarded UCLA and The Ashe Center as the healthiest college in the state of California. The Program Coordinator works to support the mission of HEART, Arthur Ashe Student Health & Wellness Center, and the University in providing high quality, research informed, health promotion, support and trainings for the UCLA student community, inclusive of a wide range of diverse undergraduate, graduate and professional students at UCLA. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with other team members in designing and implementing programming while also building infrastructural processes that contribute to HEART’s overall success.**Salary & Compensation**
- UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. **Qualifications**
- 1 year Experience in health education (required)
- 1 year Experience in program coordination (required)
- Demonstrated skill in inter-group dynamics, intercultural relations and organizational dynamics. (required)
- Skill in prioritizing assignments and completing work in a timely and accurate manner. (required)
- Demonstrated ability to make effective oral group presentations. (required)
- Interpersonal skills to work effectively and sensitively with a large and diverse group of students. (required)
- Ability to write effective business correspondence and procedural guidelines. (required)
- Working knowledge of topical issues and problems facing college students and organizations (including substance abuse, sexual assault, liability, etc.) (required)
- Excellent emotional and cultural intelligence, interpersonal skills, and political acumen to interact with individuals of varying ages, cultural backgrounds, and perspectives. (preferred)
- Experience working in a multicultural environment and skills to communicate interact, and work with diverse constituencies particularly in student programs and services development, implementation, and assessment. (preferred)

**Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations**
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant area of study or equivalent work experience and/or training. (required)
- Master's Degree in relevant area of study. (preferred)

**Special Conditions for Employment**
- Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
- Live Scan Background Check: A Live Scan background check must be completed prior to the start of employment.
- Pre-Placement Physical: Employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory physical examination.
- TB Test: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory TB test.
