**About Us**
Avenue of the Paws is a mobile dog-grooming company based out of Sherman Oaks, CA. Our mission is to provide our clientele with the highest quality grooming experience, including top-notch customer service. At our core, we strive to educate fellow dog lovers on pet hygiene and the importance of routine grooming.
Our vans are based out of Sherman Oaks and service the surrounding 25-mile radius.
**Job Summary**
If you are an animal lover, there is no other place you should be Avenue of the Paws employs experienced, affectionate, and dedicated Pet Groomers and animal lovers
General pet hygiene and high-quality, luxurious pet grooming are the essence of this job. So, we reckon you already know what your main responsibilities are: bathing, conditioning, and drying hair or fur, clipping nails, cleaning ears, and other general cosmetic services. As a Pet Stylist, you will also be required to perform haircutting services for pets.
Alongside grooming, you should have exceptionally developed communication skills. Being friendly and attentive towards customers, supervisors and coworkers is a skill we as a company and team value the most.
The best part you’re mobile You will be responsible for the safe operation of one of our state of the art and fully-equipped mobile grooming vans as you travel to and from clients located across our service area.
**Job Qualifications / Skills**
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid CA drivers license and clean driving record.
- Proven professional grooming experience.
- Sound understanding of animal behavior.
- The ability to stand for long periods of time.
- The ability to treat all animals with compassion.
- The ability to lift heavy pets and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Time management skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
