**Summary**:
The Product Support Specialist - Process BD will provide technical leadership and an advanced level of industry-specific support for troubleshooting and resolving complex Process issues to Enerflex Service, Engineering and Manufacturing departments and external customers.
This role will partner with the After Market Service Sales team providing customers with the best solutions to their project needs.
**Principle Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Respond to requests for technical support from EFX Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing as well as requests from customers.
- Provide direct assistance in the field as required.
- Provide technical support for process sales efforts - travel with existing AMS sales group to customers sites and participate with technical sales and business development as needed.
- Participate in product improvement efforts in conjunction with the Houston manufacturing facility.
**Qualifications**:
- 2 to 3-year technical diploma / vocational certificate or a dual trade ticket with a minimum of 15 years’ related experience.
- Working knowledge of oil flooded rotary screw compressors (Howden, MYCOM, Frick).
- Working knowledge of mechanical refrigeration systems (Closed and open loop mechanical refrigeration systems).
- Working knowledge of PLC based control systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon or GE).
- Willing to travel both domestically and abroad when required
**Physical Requirements**:
Most tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity. Domestic and international travel on short notice is possible.
