**Summary**

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology strategy and manage our IT infrastructure. This person will oversee the development and implementation of IT systems that support game/traditional media development and company operations. The IT Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our technological resources are secure, reliable, and efficient.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage the company's technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies.
- Oversee IT projects, including budgeting, planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Identify and recommend new technology solutions that can improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate technology solutions that support game development and business processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for technology services.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the gaming/entertainment industry and IT.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all IT-related matters. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure IT alignment with business needs.
- Manage daily IT operations including desktop setup, software updates, and network management. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the video game or entertainment industry.
- Proven experience in IT strategy development and implementation.
- Strong understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, and cloud services.
- Experience in IT security and data protection.
- Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex projects.
- Ability to negotiate and manage vendor contracts effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in the gaming/entertainment industry or a similarly creative tech-driven field.
- Experience managing an office move.

- Office is located near downtown Santa Monica - near metro and freeways

The base pay range for this position is $125,000- $155,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a competitive package of benefits including paid time off, sick time, company holidays, parental leave, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
