**Overnight Recovery Technician for a Residential Detox Facility**

**Weekend Shift (Graveyard Friday and Saturday night 11:00pm-7:30am)**

**Santa Ana, CA (Between Edinger/Warner off Bristol Street)**
- Detox experience in the residential setting _(preferably 2 yrs.+)_
- _Graveyard experience (preferably 1 yr +)_

- Knowledge and understanding of recovery and 12 step programs

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable, and client-focused treatment environment
- Coordination of, and assistance with, client activities and day to day operations
- Assisting clinical and admissions staff as needed on a daily basis
- Medication observation, counts and documentation
- Assessments done thoroughly and in a timely manner
- Work directly with recovery technicians/support staff to ensure that the clients are stable, comfortable and progressing through their detox appropriately.
- Encouraging clients to engage in their treatment and follow group and house rules
- Monitor the daily chores and ensure their completion by staff and residents
- Ensuring the rooms and property up to company standards at all times (making sure beds are made, rooms are clean, dishes are not left in the sink etc.)
- Client rounds every 30 minutes with documentation as needed
- Transport clients to and from appointments when necessary
- Oversee meal time preparation as well as family style meals with the clients
- Assist the clients with getting to their group and individual appointments on time and prepared
- Nightly Cleaning schedule of house
- *Adherence to facility policy and procedures, State & Federal law, and Joint Commission accreditation regulations and standards _(*in process_)

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma and at least 1 years of experience in a behavioral healthcare setting
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification (able to get if hired)
- **RADT or greater registry**, certificate or license
- Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- If personally in recovery must have _at least 1 year of sobriety_

**Benefits**:Paid holidays & vacations for full-time staff and millage reimbursement for all staff

**Starting Salary: Competitive Wages, $20.00-$22.00**

**Available Shifts: Weekend Overnight Shift: Friday and Saturday**

**Available: Part-time**
