Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
- Analyze demand patterns and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components to support production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage replenishment orders to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions or transportation delays.
- Continuously improve supply chain processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand market trends and incorporate insights into demand planning activities.
- Generate reports and performance metrics to track key supply chain KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Improve overall effectiveness and efficiency of department & company by leading cross-functional stakeholders through continuous improvement processes and implementation of best practices.
- Ensure that best practice SOPs are created and that all document libraries are updated and current.
- Defining and implementing enhanced departmental metrics and refining the operating model to ensure accountability and performance management.
- Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows.
- Partner with various internal divisions, and branch locations to understand operational processes and procedures by performing the work themselves if the situation requires developing and implementing a supply chain roadmap for the company.
- Works with management and personnel to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, increase engagement, and decrease unwanted turnover.

**Experience/ Training/ Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM) is a plus.
- 5 years of supply chain experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods and/or in a Wholesale/ Distribution environment.
- experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or procurement roles.
- Experience in production planning and scheduling, inventory management, MRP process, and distribution is a plus.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Ability**
- Organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under various time constraints.
- Knowledge of supply chain best practices, including lean principles and inventory optimization techniques.
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand forecasting.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping procedures, and customs clearance is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions.
- Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP systems, inventory management software, forecasting tools)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and recommend system solutions and optimizations.
- Use Excel or other spreadsheet to organize data into an easy-to-read format.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

**Working Conditions**

The Supply Chain Specialist works in a comfortable office environment. They frequently work more than the standard 40 hours a week to ensure deadlines are met. Travel is sometimes necessary. The Supply Chain Management Specialist may even travel within the US and Canada. Due to global supply chain-related support, may be required to be on-call on an irregular work schedule, including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
