**Production Coordinator
- Seasonings and Ingredients**

**Position Purpose**:

- The Production Coordinator is responsible for scheduling production and on-time delivery of product to our customers. This position provides a hands-on approach to production planning and facilitating manufacturing activities and workflow.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Analyze incoming customer orders, forecasts and trends to develop the production schedule.
- Balance customer demand with technical, quality, production, raw material and staffing constraints at the facility.
- Communicate schedule changes to operations daily to ensure that labor resources and equipment are properly scheduled to maximum through-put and efficiency.
- Expedite any approved rush orders, communicate schedule adjustments to customer service, production, quality, shipping and warehouse staff to ensure all functions are working to meet the required timeline.
- Coordinate with purchasing and supply chain to ensure adequate flow of materials needed to meet the production schedule.
- Coordinate special trial runs with customer service, production and research & development.
- Interact with all functions regarding production capacity and best practices for plant operations in order to support current demand and anticipated business growth.
- Participate with implementation of new technology or procedures with goal to improve our ability to meet customer order requirements of on time delivery.

**Secondary Responsibilities**:

- Enter batch record information into data management/ERP system.
- Generate new and revised work orders for production as demand dictates ensuring all work order data aligns with formula expectations.
- Ensure timely receipt of completed batch tickets coming from TFSI co-packers to maintain overall continuity of the quality release process.
- Review and verify batch tickets to ensure correct materials and volumes were used and recorded.
- Work with co-packers to identify and correct and data discrepancies.
- Ensure all impacted stakeholders are notified of post-production batch ticket discrepancies.

**Experience and Education**:

- Bachelor?s or associates with strong mathematical skills or equivalent level of experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience.
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands on time.
- APICS, CPIM and/or Six Sigma certification a plus.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to remain in a stationary position over 50% of the time.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, and computer printer.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- The ability to observe details at close range.
