Key Responsibilities

As a Production Parts Expeditor, your duties will include:

  • Transporting materials, components, and assemblies to various workstations while ensuring accuracy in parts and quantities to adhere to production timelines.
  • Collaborating proactively with the material handling team to establish and follow appropriate priorities and pull schedules to achieve production goals.
  • Investigating parts shortages and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to create timelines for resolution based on production demands.
  • Utilizing your expertise to lead meetings focused on parts shortages, engaging all levels of leadership within the organization.
Qualifications

You are an ideal candidate if you possess the following:

  • Strong computer proficiency, especially in Excel.
  • Experience and comfort working within an ERP/MRP system.
  • A sense of urgency that aligns with operational requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain concentration amidst interruptions, and track various part numbers simultaneously.
  • A foundational understanding of fabrication processes is highly desirable.
