Join our team at Central Arizona Shelter Services, Arizona's largest and oldest Single Adult Homeless Shelter, dedicated to providing emergency housing and support to those in need for over 40 years. Additionally, we operate a family shelter that has been providing emergency shelter to 30 families for 30 years.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors capable of making major gifts to support the organization's programs and initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, including individuals, families, and private foundations, through personalized communication, donor recognition, and engagement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Development team to create targeted cultivation and solicitation plans, including donor research, proposal development, and donor meetings.
- Utilize donor management systems to track donor interactions, manage prospect portfolios, and analyze fundraising data to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Work closely with senior leadership and program staff to articulate the impact of donor support and align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities and goals.
- Represent the organization at community events, networking opportunities, and donor cultivation activities to promote awareness and engagement.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a focus on individual giving and major gifts.
- Proven track record of successfully securing major gifts and meeting fundraising goals.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in proposal writing and donor stewardship.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with donor management software and fundraising databases.
