**Key Responsibilities**:

- Answer phones and take patient calls and provide professional, accurate, satisfactory answers to their questions and concerns, including assisting with managing medication refills and prescriber scheduling.
- Guide patients through troubleshooting for telehealth appointments.
- Complete prior authorizations and patient assistance programs for medications when indicated.
- Assist providers in administrative tasks, including those related to clinic licensure and payor compliance.
- Answer general questions about the practice and services provided.
- Answer internal communication questions.
- Coordinate care between patient and providers.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Collaborate with other team members and locations to provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare patient files for providers.
- Provide overall prescriber and site support.
- Own and manage medication logbook and download prescription monitoring report daily for review.
- Help support clinicians and prescribers on managing waitlist.
- Must maintain a professional dress code at all times.
- Licensed RN/LPN may include coordination and administration of injections.
- Lead and facilitate training sessions for new Prescriber Medical Administrative Assistants (PMAAs), ensuring comprehensive understanding of company systems, workflows, and best practices.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to new PMAAs, fostering their professional development and ensuring adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to identify training needs and develop tailored onboarding plans for new PMAA hires, optimizing their integration into the team and maximizing productivity from inception.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective engagement with patients, colleagues, and management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with diverse individuals.

- Preferred experience in healthcare administration or related fields.
- Experience in a medical office or call center environment.
- Prior experience working as a medical assistant is advantageous.
- Experience with insurance verification, obtaining pre-authorizations, and scheduling for multiple providers.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), medical terminology, and basic clinical pharmacology knowledge.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Experience working with patients dealing with anxiety and depression.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at building rapport and active listening.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification through an accredited program.
